If you blinked, you might have missed it but 2025 has already packed its bags and headed for the exit, leaving the rest of us wondering how on earth the year went in so fast.
One minute we were shaking off the last of the New Year confetti, and the next, we were up to our elbows in summer weddings, milestone parties, christenings, office bashes… you name it, Hog Roast Northern UK cooked for it. Seriously. What a ride this year has been!
So before everyone rushes into 2026 with their shiny planners and good intentions (we see you, “new year, new me” crowd), we just want to pause for a second and say a proper, heartfelt thank you. Seriously – thank you. Every single person who booked us this year helped shape what turned out to be one of our favourite chapters yet.
Maybe we were there when you said “I do”, handing out hog roast rolls to your guests who were still wiping happy tears from their cheeks. Or perhaps we showed up with our trusty roaster for your birthday, your little one’s Christening, or that corporate event you were a bit nervous about until the first tray of food hit the table and the whole room relaxed. Big moments, tiny ones, busy ones, emotional ones – Hog Roast Northern UK was honoured to be there for all of it.
And here’s the thing: you didn’t just give us work. You gave us conversations; stories; laughter, and the kind of memories that stick with our team like glue long after the van is packed up and the last tray is washed.
But that’s enough about the past – because now we’ve got that fizzy, just-before-January feeling where everything seems possible again. Our 2026 diary is officially open, and we’re already dreaming about what’s ahead. Menu upgrades? Maybe. More chances to celebrate with you? Ab-so-lutely!
