We’ll admit it – we could spend all day raving about hog roasts. About the smell of the meat as it’s licked by flames for hours on end. The tenderness of the pulled pork. The crunch of perfectly cooked crackling and the way the salty-sweet flavours are balanced out by our homemade applesauce… Sorry, we’re getting a bit carried away. You get the point, we love a hog roast.
But we know not everyone shares our slightly over-the-top enthusiasm for pork. And that’s perfectly fine. At Hog Roast Whitby, the last thing we ever wanted was to become a “one trick pony” – or maybe a one trick piggy.
From the very beginning, Hog Roast Whitby‘s real passion has been proper, honest cooking. Farm-to-table ingredients. Dishes made from scratch. Food that feels generous and thoughtful rather than churned out for convenience. The hog roast might have been our starting point, but it was never meant to be the limit.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our menus in ways that honestly surprised even us. Our equipment is designed to handle far more than a single spit roast, which means we can switch gears easily. So, if you’re after a traditional roast beef with all the trimmings, consider us game. Herb-roasted chicken carved fresh on-site? Absolutely. BBQ spreads stacked with smoky favourites that make you want to linger in the garden long after the sun dips? We’re in.
Scroll through our menus and you’ll see the variety straight away. Lamb, beef, chicken, turkey – all cooked until tender and served with your pick of sides. If you fancy elevating things a little, feel free to add canapés for a stylish welcome, antipasti platters for grazing, and a proper pudding to round it all off.
And if you don’t spot exactly what you’re after, that’s not the end of the story. Some of our favourite events have started with a client making an out of the box request. And honestly? We love that. Unique requests keep things interesting and they push Hog Roast Whitby to keep creating something new.

So yes, we adore a hog roast. Always will.
But what we really love? Making sure the food at your event feels exactly right for you – whatever that happens to be.
