Hog Roast AbbeysteadThis week marked an extremely important one for Hog Roast Abbeystead – one which we have had our eye on for quite some time with the first call to order made in the latter half of 2022 – as a very high-profile business partner of ours (we won’t spoil who, however) required a real show of catering excellency to impress a prospective client for what could be a very important deal for their business. For such a deal they needed to pull out all the stops, and so on our part that meant a high end catered service of extremely quality; everything that catering can throw to dazzle and throw. Thankfully, we’re Hog Roast Abbeystead, so extreme quality is always what we do!

There is little more stylish in catering than having your very own spit roasted pig at your mealtime experience. Even just the sight of one of our hog roasts atop its spit is an impressive one, and really makes the guest feel as though they are getting something very special and unique. Hog Roast AbbeysteadAs our business partner spent the day with their client the Hog Roast Abbeystead team readied ourselves by cooking up a delicious high end spread. Our formal hog roast dining experience was just the tonic for this kind of situation. As the guests arrived they were met with a welcome drink and a quick bite from our canapes range: mini bites of pan seared fillets of beef, Scottish smoked salmon, handmade gourmet sausage, and halloumi and tomato crostini. Once welcomed guests took their seats and our starter of roasted Gressingham duck with seasonal leaves and an orange and pomegranate dressing was served. We were well aware of the clients dining preferences so we were confident this exceptional duck could do the trick. And that’s just the prelude to the main event as we then served our hog roast with its accompanying sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, golden crackling, heritage tomato and mozzarella salad, and roasted new potatoes.

Wined and dined to perfection, we reckon, and from what we hear the client was very well impressed by the service!
