Have A Happy Engagement Party With Hog Roast Foxfield

Hog Roast Foxfield was thrilled to attend Duncan and Ava’s engagement party on Saturday night!

Having been together for close to a decade, the happy couple had recently decided to take their relationship to the next level and tie the knot. And, as you might have guessed, their families and friends were ecstatic to hear that Duncan had finally popped the question! The exciting news called for huge celebrations, and so the pair had decided to organise a lively event for their loved ones to enjoy.

Duncan and Ava had hired a function hall at the cocktail bar where they had gone on their first date for their special evening, and, knowing how much of a role food plays when it comes to the success of an event, they had hired Hog Roast Foxfield to serve our Hog Roast Dining Experience Menu on the night.

This truly phenomenal menu features a selection of five fantastic canapé options, followed by two meaty mains, a delectable plant-based choice, a variety of sides and two irresistible desserts to finish, which makes it the ultimate feast for all sorts of different occasions. For Duncan and Ava’s engagement do, the menu couldn’t have been more fitting, and they were delighted when our caterers presented them with the food on the day.

Hog Roast FoxfieldOur beautiful, hand-crafted canapés, which included gourmet sausages, roasted duck, smoked Scottish salmon, mini quiche and an Indian selection, were served by our waiting staff as the guests arrived, along with a welcome cocktail. Everyone loved these bite-size nibbles, which made them all the more eager to taste the main course options. These included our delicious whole-roasted free-range pork, spit-roasted English lamb, or BBQ pulled jackfruit with vegan ‘slaw with an abundance of salad and potato-based side dishes.

With plenty of variety on offer, it’s safe to say that no one left this event with an empty stomach! Hog Roast Foxfield’s catering manager, James, did an excellent job of making sure everyone was well-fed, and the icing on the cake was the puds – the chocolate torte and vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream rounded off Duncan and Ava’s evening perfectly.
