Hog Roast Bootle’s Lightning Fast Servers Made Sure Everyone Was Well-Fed At A Drive-In Movie Showing

Hog Roast BootleThe return of drive-in movie theatres has brought with it a lot of business for Hog Roast Bootle. So, over the last few years, our team has had the privilege of attending countless open-air theatre events, with the latest taking place last weekend!

The organiser of this particular event was Rob, who had sold out of all 200 parking spots for the late-night showing of the cult classic musical, Grease. Our Hog Roast Bootle crew was very pleased to have received an invite to cater for this very special event, and our team gladly delivered an exceptional spread, which the guests were extremely happy with.

The feast chosen for this function was our Classic Hog Roast Menu, which is sometimes known as the Hog Roast Bootle signature. In this stunning spread, the hog roast is definitely the star of the show and comes complete with gluten-free or wholemeal rolls, sage and onion stuffing, applesauce and crispy crackling, as well as a range of tantalising side dishes for the guests to indulge in.

On this occasion, our crew rustled up a huge batch of sweet potato and regular fries, creamy coleslaw and fresh salad options for the guests to pick from, along with a meat-free choice of grilled vegetable kebabs with the option of added Greek halloumi cheese chunks, sweet chilli sauce, tzatziki dip and soft and delicious flatbreads.

Preparing this huge feast had taken our team all afternoon, but the payoff was certainly worth the effort! As the cars pulled into the car park, keen to find the best spot in the lot, the ticketholders’ senses were immediately taken over by the delightful aromas that wafted from the Hog Roast Bootle stall. So, as soon as they had parked up, they raced over to collect some of our delicious pig roast rolls and sides, which were served in convenient takeaway-style plates.

Hog Roast Bootle’s tireless efforts meant that everyone was served just in time for the opening credits to start rolling, but throughout the showing, we had quite a few people approach us for second helpings, which we were happy to oblige.
