Looking For A Formal Dining Plan? Look No Further Than Hog Roast Bispham

From the invites and the colour scheme to the props and the outfits, high school sweethearts, Cameron and Sophie, wanted everything to be just so on their wedding day. And so they had spent the last 12 months knee-deep in preparations, which culminated in a magical celebration last Saturday!

With all of their friends and family present, the happy couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at a stately home in the heart of the countryside, and Hog Roast Bispham was thrilled to be chosen to handle the catering on this special day.

Matching the tone of the venue, our crew served one of our more formal feasts, which offered guests the chance to indulge their senses in our glorious selection of handmade canapé options, consisting of pan-seared fillet of beef, vegetarian mini quiche, roasted duck, smoked Scottish salmon and chicken satay skewers, before tucking into a sensational three-course meal, complete with a wedding cake service and an evening buffet.

Hog Roast BisphamOnce the canapés were all but gone and the guests had taken their seats, James, our catering manager, instructed our waiting staff to serve the heritage tomato and beetroot carpaccio. This colourful and refreshingly light starter went down a treat with the guests and was closely followed by a choice of our free-range roast chicken with butchers chipolata sausages, sirloin of English beef with Yorkshire puddings or vegan-friendly grilled vegetable skewers with sweet chilli sauce and tzatziki. Hog Roast Bispham had also prepared a variety of salad and potato sides to pair with the main course options, which the guests happily took full advantage of.

Sticky toffee pudding and rich and tasty chocolate torte rounded off this sublime meal, and after polishing off their plates, the guests took to the dance hall to kickstart the reception celebrations. Everyone watched as the bride and groom took their first dance, and after that, a live band performed a playlist of wedding classics. Once they had finished performing their set, the stereo took over, and Hog Roast Bispham rolled in with a buffet of hot sausage and bacon rolls with mustard and ketchup and wedding cake slices topped with fresh berries and cream.

It was a spectacular day all round, and Sophie and Cameron couldn’t have been more pleased with how smoothly everything went!
