June 13th – Moonlight Walk – St Johns Hospice Lancaste
Another year of fundraising for the St Johns Hospice saw another 1,100 brightly dressed women set off into the night to complete either a 10k or 5k walk around Morecambe and Lancaster to arrive back to a well deserved Hog Roast roll or a plate of our homemade pasts bake for the vegetarians
June 13th – Wedding at Derwentwater Independent Youth Hostel
A superb location overlooking Derwentwater in the Lake District was the venue for a fantastic wedding celebration with guests attending from as far away as Australia ( Marion the bride was from Queensland Australia ) – the main wedding meal comprised of our Slow Roast Option of Pork Shoulder – English Lamb and instead of the usual British Beef on request we served a selection of Haloumi Kebabs with a red onion marmalade relish all accompanied with English new potatoes and salads
20th June Wryesdale Hall Scorton
A lovely Victorian mansion was the backdrop for this 60th Birthday Party – the guests had rather an unusual treat as there was 5 helicopters parked next to the Marquee and were on hand to give anyone a trip around the lovely Wyre valley – also for the children a fairground has been set up – the guests were served – Sirlion Beef – Roast Pots and Yorkie puddings as well as a selection of freshly made salads and homemade pasta bake for the vegetarians
