Our Hog Roast Aysgarth experts always love to do a great job and when it comes to providing delicious dishes for our customers and their guests, we make sure to make them using only fresh, high-quality ingredients that are local where possible. This includes the meat that we cook from scratch at your venue, on the day of your special occasion, which we source locally from trusted suppliers of farmers and butchers. While we’re renowned for the sumptuous centrepiece hog roasts that we’ve perfected over many years, we also cook different kinds of meat too, in case you’re thinking of something a little bit different.
We can cook you a spit-roast or barbecue alternative main, or serve one of our standalone menus if preferred, like our Southern Slow Roast (where you choose three marinated meats and four sides) or our Loaded Fries (where we top fries with meat, slaw and melting cheese). Hog Roast Aysgarth also offers alternatives to meat if needed, for your vegetarian guests, like grilled halloumi and vegetable skewers, Spanish quiche or mac and cheese, which we can also make vegan. Other diets can easily be catered too, like gluten-free or dairy-free, as long as we have advance notice, so just let us know your requirements when you book and we’ll do you proud.
If you’re planning a menu of several courses, we also have plenty of canapés, starters, sides and desserts available, and you’re welcome to mix and match items between menus in order to create your own perfect one. For a corporate event that Hog Roast Aysgarth catered yesterday, we were asked for multiple mains, sides and desserts. After perusing our many menus, our customer decided on a hog roast made into piles of pigs in buns and our veggie skewers for the two mains, served alongside coleslaw, a new potato salad, a tomato and mozzarella salad and sweet potato wedges, which were all suitable for the vegetarian guests too.
The mains and sides were devoured with ease and then towards the end of service, to finish off the meal beautifully, we also served fresh fruit salad and chocolate torte, and then left the guests to rest off their food coma.
