Hog Roast Bentham recently had the pleasure of catering for a christening! It was a truly special occasion for everyone who attended, and we were happy to help make it an even more memorable day with one of our tasty meal plans.
From the moment we began discussing the catering arrangements with the family, it became clear that their only wish was to make sure that their guests had a wonderful experience and that the menu offered something for everyone. With this in mind, our catering manager, James, had suggested our Alfresco Menu, which features a show-stopping hog roast with fresh side salads, coleslaw, a potato dish, Italian antipasti platters and a veggie/vegan option of grilled veggie kebabs with optional halloumi chunks.
The clients agreed with James that this menu suited their needs perfectly. So, when it came to the big day, our team arrived at the venue early enough to set up and prepare this wonderful menu.
Preparing the delicious hog roast with all the trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, freshly baked baps, crackling and homemade sauces, took Hog Roast Bentham’s catering crew upwards of 5 hours, but the results were well worth it! By the time the guests arrived to kickstart the celebrations, the meat was tender and succulent, the salads were light and crunchy, the coleslaw deliciously creamy, and the roasted new potatoes were nicely crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.
The clients, along with their 75 guests, were thrilled with the food Hog Roast Bentham created, and the atmosphere was made even more wonderful by the beautiful sunshine. Everyone was able to make the most of the gorgeous weather and delicious food, thanks to our spacious gazebo, which offered shade from the heat and a comfy place to rest.
