Did you know that Hog Roast Windermere can cater to any and all occasions such as weddings, birthdays and even corporate events? What’s more is we are able to cater whatever the weather which is great news considering the lakes is notoriously rainy!
This week Hog Roast Windermere were asked to cater for Jayne at the Beech Hill Hotel and Spa. Having not catered here before we were eager to make a good impression and ensure that our hog roast lived up to all expectations. We had been asked for our classic menu one, that’s a slow roasted hog that we serve in a variety of bread rolls or even wraps. Our chef will always ensure he carefully scores the skin of the hog before cooking and applies lots of salt to make that delicious crackling that keeps people coming back for more which is a sight we always like to see at our events! For the vegetarian option we also prepared some vegetable skewers that we make freshly on site and always use the freshest of ingredients to ensure all our guests are happy.
With forty people and a serve time between three and five o’clock we knew we ought to prepare a little extra food as guests are guaranteed to want seconds! When serve time came around everyone couldn’t stop complimenting how delicious the food looked and tasted and not to mention the smell that had been driving them crazy whilst they had been waiting for a plate!
Once everyone had been served our Hog Roast Windermere team made sure we discretely tidied away and packed away all of our rubbish so that Jayne and her guests could continue to enjoy their event. This is something we do at any event as we believe as the host and guests it is only your responsibility to enjoy the food and the event – leave the hard work to us!
