On Saturday saw the Spitting Pig Northern Wedding team arrive at a lovely venue that had opened its doors for the first time ever for a wedding function – Swarthmoor Hall belongs too and is run by the Quakers – after an overcast and rainy start to the day so the sun appeared as the wedding party arrived to be greeted with a reception drink and a fine selection of canapés which included –wild mushroom brochette- grilled fillet of beef – and an Indian selection which then followed on to the main meal which guests had the option of pork straight of our freshly roasted hog or a delicious pan-fried sea bass – after serving the desserts we left with the well satisfied guests looking forward to the evenings entertainments.
