In April of 2022, Hog Roast Pooley Bridge catered for a wonderful corporate event that took place at the beautiful Drumlanrig Castle. The event was for Buccleuch Company and had been organised by Blue Sky events, with Hog Roast Pooley Bridge providing a delicious Gourmet BBQ menu alongside a tasty fish and chip van. Employees from all of the Buccleuch estates travelled to the site to enjoy this corporate event and celebrate their hard work. Altogether, there was plenty of catering for 100 guests to enjoy and more than enough to go around!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Pooley Bridge team arrived in advance of the 17:00 mealtime, with plenty of time to prepare the BBQ on site. We began by cooking the main dishes, which included succulent sausages, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, juicy British beef burgers, Thai chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. The main dishes were served with a selection of tasty sides, including Greek salad, crunchy coleslaw, homemade chips, and fresh bread rolls. This was a delicious and varied menu, with something for every guest to choose from. Our Gourmet BBQ allowed guests to choose their favourite dishes to create a meal that was suited to them, which was ideal for this event! Our catering was a wonderful addition, and it was great to see so many guests enjoying what we had to offer.
