If there’s one event Hog Roast Carlisle enjoy catering, it’s a wedding! Luckily we are asked to cater for many throughout the year but of course during the summer months we find ourselves at a wedding every week and we couldn’t be happier- it’s a chance to provide our slow roasted food for large groups of people on what is the most special day of a couples life.
This week we attended Adam and Abi’s wedding in Brampton. The wedding was being held at the spectacular Dacre Hall. Set in the wonderful Irthing valley, the location is just 2 miles from Brampton and Hadrian’s Wall. Boasting a large banquet hall complete with a stage and plenty of room for dancing it is truly suited to hosting weddings and it was easy to see why Adam and Abi had fallen in love with the venue.
We arrived mid-morning in order to get prepared for the Hog Roast Carlisle which was to feed seventy-five people led by catering manager James. Adam and Abi had chosen our menu four option which includes welcome canapés on arrival and champagne reception. Then follows a three-course meal with starter, main (served buffet style) and your dessert of choice. Of course, we will then slice and serve your wedding cake if you wish followed by tea and coffee.
As usual we always strive to provide nothing but the finest service and highest quality ingredients and for Hog Roast Carlisle and so our ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible. All dishes are also prepared on site so you can be sure everything is made fresh to order and we will ensure we provide all the crockery and can arrange table decorations if required.
