Here at Hog Roast Kirkby Lonsale, we love all things festive! When we were contacted a few weeks ago by Tina who was planning her works Christmas party we simply could not refuse despite it being held in November!
Tina explained to our booking team that the company she works for was actually a catering company themselves and as Christmas is their busiest time of year they always like to have their own celebrations nice and early to help get them in the spirit of the season plus it means they can prioritise their clients in the run-up to the big day itself. Well, Hog Roast Kirkby Lonsale are never one to turn down the opportunity to celebrate and so we readily accepted the event and started preparing for our first Christmas menu of the year.
With around fifty employees, Tina informed us that they were looking for a classic Christmas dinner style meal with all the trimmings- just trading turkey for our signature slow-roasted hog. We were delighted to be able to offer this and contacted our suppliers nice and early to make sure our food would be of the highest quality for this event.
The company had hired out a local venue and we were stunned to see it transformed into a winter wonderland complete even with fake snow! We quickly got our catering station set up and the food happily cooking away just in time for the guests to arrive.
Having enjoyed mingling with guests it was finally time to serve the Hog Roast Kirkby Lonsale Christmas meal. We piled everyone’s plates high (it wouldn’t be Christmas otherwise!) and made sure to clean up our station afterwards. Once the leftovers had been devoured, we discreetly packed away as we do at every event and wished Tina and her employees the very best of Christmases.
