Hog Roast Cowgill were delighted when they were contacted by a local couple about the catering for their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. The couple wanted to celebrate their loving milestone surrounded by family in a truly luxurious setting. The team were only too happy to jump on board and cater the event for the couple.
The clients wanted a formal sit down meal for their guests to enjoy, and that’s exactly what the team delivered. The menu devised by the Hog Roast Cowgill was varied and luxuriant, as well as making the food for the guests and clients, the team would also serve the food to the tables, in a more formal manner.
Everything would be made fresh on site on the day of the event; the highly skilled catering team would arrive on site several hours before the 4pm serving time. They would make and then serve all the delicious dishes the clients had agreed on as part of their bespoke, lovingly created catering package.
As the guests arrived at the specially hired venue the highly skilled servers from Hog Roast Cowgill team served canapés to the guests. From fun mini pizzas, to tasty halloumi kebabs and an Indian selection there was plenty to choose from. After the canapés had been enjoyed by all and the guests had been seated the team served hot soup and rolls as a starter.
The main course chosen by the clients was set up on a serving table as a buffet, where the guests could choose to have: succulent slow roasted salmon or perfectly sizzled turkey with sage and onion stuffing as well as a whole host of other dishes. The clients also selected two puddings for their guests to choose from: Profiteroles loaded with fresh whipped cream and rich, smooth chocolate sauce or a juicy, seasonal fresh fruit salad, which was served to the tables.
The whole event was a massive success, the clients and their guests thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience. The Hog Roast Cowgill team were delighted at how well the celebration went.
