Having put off going to any group gatherings since the lockdown restrictions began to lift, Gary was really pleased to see that his favourite caterers at Hog Roast Gressingham were back in action and acting responsibly. As a result, he decided that it was about time he treated himself and his nearest and dearest to one of our lip-smacking spreads – and because he quoted ‘PIG-OUT’ on the phone, he was able to save himself an extra tenner on his booking thanks to the eat out to help out scheme, or in this case pig-out (in your garden!).
Still wanting to avoid having large masses of people over, Gary had limited his guestlist to ten names. So, for this occasion, our catering manager recommended a more laid-back bespoke menu which consisted of our chef’s own gourmet sausages, BBQ 100% beef handmade burgers, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, Thai chicken kebabs, and a meat-free option of grilled vegetable skewers with chunks of Greek halloumi cheese, tzatziki dip and warmed flatbreads. The sides on offer included Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, fries smothered in jalapenos and cheese, and colourful salads, bordered by slices of watermelon.
It was great to be able to catch up with Gary again last Sunday, and after a few hours of tireless cooking, the Hog Roast Gressingham catering team were ready to serve the drool-inducing feast which had filled the entire house with delicious scents.
As usual, Gary was left speechless by our team’s talent, and the guests too couldn’t seem to get enough!
