Sunday dinner saw the Spitting Pig Northern UK team setting up in the gardens of the sports and social club which is adjacent to the River Lune. We were entertained by a couple of jet skiers enjoying another sunny autumn day racing up and down the river in front of St Georges Quay, which was built in 1750
Soon guests started to arrive from the church which meant we had to swing into action and start to carve and serve the hungry guests with another locally sourced succulent hog roast Aldcliffe which had been slowing roasting away on a low flame to create the ultimate pulled pork. For the children we served butchers pork sausages in finger rolls. There was plenty of pork to go around and Sarah had prepared a couple of salads herself to pop on our serving table. We had fantastic feedback from all of Sarah’s guests.
Another successful hog roast in Aldcliffe.
