The very final weekend of April capped of a brilliant month for the Hog Roast Flookburgh team in apt style as we headed out to Keld Farm to join our partners at Long Acre Barn for their special wedding fair.
Long Acre Barn is one of the best wedding venues and hosts in all of Cumbria, so it is a privilege to have been partnered with them for some time now. We love any opportunity we get to come out to the exceptionally beautiful converted farmland venue for a wedding, so to be invited out for their fair this past weekend – as a recommended caterer, too – was possibly the best way to cap off April and begin the summer season in earnest.
The converted Keld Farm offers customers a rustic backdrop for their biggest events in life. It is perfect for weddings as the venue’s grounds offer plenty of photo opportunities, including a stunning view out over the fields and the Pennines. Plus, with multiple spacious room and options, there are many ways to set up your event or wedding with options for all ranges of guest list sizes. If you are hosting your wedding here, you can make full use of the relaxed rural grounds to stay in over the weekend while you get set for the biggest day of your life with your partner; the Long Acre team are family run, so love the personal touch and will have you feeling valued as their own guest for the weekend. It is part of why we at Hog Roast Flookburgh love to work with them, because they share a lot of the same values of care, traditionality, and personal touches that we do as a caterer.
This past weekend, their wedding fair brought out hundreds of guests who enjoyed an incredible day of entertainment thanks to the many trusted wedding suppliers in attendance. Our attendant Hog Roast Flookburgh team spoke to so many people and can’t wait to follow up some of the discussions we had. It was also an honour to be featured in the wedding brochure as Long Acre’s recommended caterer, so if you still have yours from the fair then please come and look us out! We’d love to chat dining options for your wedding in Long Acre soon!
