In celebration of Janet’s 60th birthday, her thoughtful husband, Ronald, had planned an elaborate party, which saw close to 200 guests meet up for a barn dance at the couple’s secluded countryside home!
Having been a fully functioning farm at one point in time, Ronald and Janet’s land still features a huge barn, which has been renovated into a beautiful guest house, complete with a fully-stocked bar and extra space for a dance floor – which, in this case, made for the perfect venue for the birthday party!
With plenty of indoor space to shelter everyone from the cold and even more outdoor space for guests to enjoy a warming fire pit and fireworks display, Ronald and Janet’s home was definitely the place to be on Saturday night!
Rolling out all the stops, Ronald had even hired Hog Roast Corby Hill to take care of the food, and our team couldn’t have been more pleased to assist with this truly unforgettable event! Taking charge of our small (but mighty!) team, our catering manager, James, rustled up our Southern Slow Roast Menu on the evening of the party, much to the delight of the ravenous guests!
Having heard lots of great things about Hog Roast Corby Hill in the weeks leading up to the celebration, the guests were eager to sink their teeth into our glorious grub – and to say they were impressed would be a massive understatement!
Cooked from scratch using fresh, local produce, each dish Hog Roast Corby Hill presented was bursting with flavour, so much so that the guests couldn’t help but ask for top-ups. Our Texan 24-hour beef brisket and BBQ pork butt were particularly popular at this event, with guests complimenting the perfectly-balanced seasoning and tenderness of the meat. The veggie/vegan guests were impressed too, and could hardly believe how tasty our BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls are!
As for side dishes, everyone was a fan of Hog Roast Corby Hill’s famous Memphis-style crunchy coleslaw, classic mac and cheese and mixed sweet potato and regular fries, which helped to add extra flavour and depth to the meal, making the dining experience even more memorable for everyone involved.
