Oktoberfest, or as we affectionately call it, Hogtoberfest, is just around the corner, and we at Hog Roast Flookburgh are bubbling with excitement!
Known globally as the largest Volkfest, Oktoberfest draws millions into its lively fold every year, and this year’s celebrations in Northern UK are gearing up to be pretty legendary! With our calendar packed and the festive spirit high, Hog Roast Flookburgh is thrilled to be a part of the excitement!
We’ve already received a flurry of bookings from both private and corporate clients, ensuring that we’ll be kept on our toes throughout the two-week festivities. But if you’re still in the last-minute scramble to secure catering for your Oktoberfest bash, don’t panic—there’s still time, though availability is limited!
One of our first stops after the festivities kick-off is a local brewery hosting a fantastic event. With 250 tickets sold for a private tour, attendees will enjoy a taste of traditional and craft ales, live music, an Oktoberfest-themed quiz with amazing prizes and plenty of dancing. To top it all off, Hog Roast Flookburgh will be serving our legendary hog roast, and we can’t wait to delight the crowd with our flavourful feast!
Our signature hog roast is a showstopper that’s bound to impress. Imagine slow-roasted pork that’s smokey, salty, and irresistibly juicy, served on soft wholemeal or gluten-free rolls. We’ll add sage and onion stuffing, applesauce, and crispy crackling for that perfect bite. To round out the meal, we’ll offer a selection of seasonal mixed salad, coleslaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, and mixed fries, making for a hearty and satisfying feast.
And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten our vegan friends! Our BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls are a delicious meat-free option that captures the essence of Oktoberfest flavours, ensuring everyone gets to enjoy the festivities.
