Wedding Anniversary Feast – Hog Roast Lowgill Style

Our famous hog roasts are regularly featured at all kinds of parties and events, from weddings to birthday celebrations and school fairs to corporate hospitality functions but we also offer much more than you might think. We truly understand the need for choice and variety when catering, as you may need us to cater a special diet, provide multiple courses or cook a different kind of meat instead of (or as well as) a hog roast.

Hog Roast LowgillTake a look at our extensive menus and you’ll see an array of possibilities, like vegetarian quiche, mac and cheese or halloumi skewers, a great selection of starters, sides, desserts and canapés, as well as meaty hog roast alternatives including spit-roast and marinated meats. If you’re inviting a guest with a gluten intolerance or allergy, they can still enjoy our amazing pigs in buns – we just need to take along suitable bread rolls and wraps to your special occasion, as all the other ingredients are already suitable. Plus other diets can easily be catered if you just let us know your needs in advance.

We also provide Hog Roast Lowgill speciality menus, where you can wow the guests at your next party or event with something a little bit different. Our Loaded Fries feature freshly-cooked chips, smothered in our slow-roasted pulled pork or brisket of beef and topped with a zesty or spicy slaw and melted cheese and our Southern Slow Roast gives you your pick of three meats (marinated and then slow-roasted on the day), as well as your choice of four hot and cold sides. Either of these menus will be a big hit with many of your guests and we can still always provide alternatives if needed on the day too.

Our trusted Hog Roast Lowgill chef and catering assistants cooked up a storm earlier today, where we slow-roasted a hog roast to make pigs in buns, as well as piles of jacket potatoes and sweet potato wedges, and we made our homemade coleslaw too. For the fifty guests at a lovely wedding anniversary party, this feast was exactly what was needed, and by the end of the night, everything had been completely devoured.
